Interesting data from the movie industry: the new Captain America (which has been criticized for being too conservative and many interpret as critical of Obama) is dominating the box offices around the country and is #1 in ticket sales. Coming in #2 is the animated Rio 2. And Hollywood is stunned that the #3 movie in America is Heaven Is For Real, which has now earned more than Noah in spite of the limited number of theaters willing to show it. In contrast, Noah has fallen off the charts and is not even in the top ten. In fact, the movie Son of God that was released earlier this year (made by Roma Downey and Mark Burnett) has also earned more than Noah. I shall now pause to chuckle.
