Interesting day...I have been very hard on my feet. Had a log jump off the grate, and land on the floor of the fire place, spewing hot embers everywhere. Natural reaction, I jumped back and stepped on one of those embers that escaped the fireplace...burned bottom right foot. Note to self put shoes on when tending fire. Went outside to get log for fire, stepped off step with left foot, found sharp acorn with full weight (which is aallloooot)...small cut and bruise bottom left foot. Note to self, put shoes on when going for a log. Out to wood pile to stock the fire box for the night, rolled log of the top of cord onto left foot...note to self wear boots not tennis shoes to bring in wood. Small bruise top left foot...hurts worse than looks. You know God was trying to tell me something and I just would not listen...how many times do we find ourselves in that situation???
