Interesting day. Left the ranch house at 330 am to get my oldest son to the bus for a school trip. By the time I left his school at 530am there was a sheet of black ice all over the roads, has been that way all day. Ended up staying in town all day due to roads being too slick to drive on. I was in a panic because I made soap yesterday that needed to be cut today (otherwise it might be too hard to cut). My youngest son and one of my husbands closest friends came to the rescue. I told them how to cut them and they sent me pictures via the phone for my approval. They did a perfect job - yeah, the soap is saved, we are all safe and now I get to camp out in our house with no beds. As my oldest son said wow Mom, that will be quite an adventure for you! They make me laugh no matter what.
