Interesting day at Bachelors Grove Cemetery today. Bill Swinford pointed out a heat signature apperision close to the East fence (we were toward the pond from center) that I could easily see myself. It seemed to take a few steps then disappeared. Two very different dogs (and different owners) were staring out at the woods a good part of the evening. The heat signature appeared again just before sunset and disappeared as I walked toward it. Libby May Humphrey made a quick appearance by the Patrick stone (where is is buried) but hid behind it when she saw that I was watching her. Later, as I walked out I heard a growl to my right and heard something in the woods. I would have investigated but it was sunset and by law I had to leave the Forrest Preserve. I will be checking my photos this weekend to see if I caught anything. Overall, an interesting afternoon/evening. And it is always fun to see Bill Swinford, Karl Kochmann, Wendy Moxley Roe and of course Bailey. Now to rest my legs, eat supper, watch Haven and get a good nights sleep.
