Interesting day out and about! Saw the blind leading the blind....literally! A woman with her white cane in one hand and a coffee in the other marching confidently across the street in the crosswalk. A man with his white cane in one hand had his other hand on the womans shoulder and was walking an arm length behind her, step for step. Cool! I saw a young man on a pedestrian bridge over the road with board shorts and no shirt and a surf board tucked under his arm....in Seattle in October! I saw a little old lady puttering down the road in front of me, 10 miles under the speed limit, gripping the steering wheel and peering up over the top of it. She was in a pristine white Mustang convertible with the top down. All the parts of the car that are usually silver trim were gold! I walked down to my doctor appointment through the beaver pond at the bottom of our hill and it smelled like when I used to hike at Holden Village. Homesick!
