Interesting exercise in perspective. Saying that you dont see race is 1) ridiculous, and 2) insulting to those people whose race and culture are an important part of who they are, who their family is and is intensely important to them. See culture and race. But respect it and its deep history and tradition. See also racism and how it operates in your daily life; learn to delete it from your thoughts actions and vocabulary. Choosing not to wont make racism go away. But it WILL make you the last holdout for an antiquated societal blight. And once the protective shroud of like - minded people wears away, all that will remain is you, head in the sand... Feet rooted firmly in the mud... Stalwartly waving your banner headstrong, holding on desperately to an outdated way of thinking... While everyone else walks in the opposite direction, as we do, putting as much distance between us and the dinosaurs as we can.
