Interesting fact. For you home brewers out there. I tried 2 new methods with my last brew and encountered issues I would discuss. I have a Blueberry stout in the primary fermenter. AIH told me that additional Malt extract and dry malt would result in more sugar for the yeast to eat and therefore a higher gravity yield. I had also made my own Yeast starter which was fairly effective... The problem I encountered is that this additional sugar content resulted in a ton of CO2 produced and it was enough to blow the top off of my fermenter bucket and spill blueberry sludge out the side.. WOW.. This stuff is going to be strong.. It also contains 1 pound of thawed fresh blueberries as well... Im curious how this turns out now! Il keep everyone posted. Post comments and questions
