It looks like a big red cat. • In 1996, Larry Page and Sergey Brin named their first search engine BackRub. In 1997, Larry and his colleagues have discussed a number of possible new names for faster and better search technology. Sean and Larry were in their office and tried to think of a good name, which is connected with adjustment of the huge amount of data. Their colleague, Sean Anderson suggested the word googolplex, and Larry offered in response to, shortened googol, which means a number in the decimal numeration represented by one followed by 100 zeros. Shaun did a search in the internet and saw that the offered name is available for registration and use. But Sean made a misprint and registered the domain as google. Larry liked the name, and he approved it as a brand name google (an account is dated in September 15, 1997). • The name of the search engine Yahoo is Yet Another Hierarchical Officious Oracle… • The first computer bug was found by Grace Murray Hopper, who worked with computers Mark II. During the failure, the woman checked the relay and found a moth there that caused the problem. It was the first case, when the word “bug” was used for designation of various problems in software or hardware.
