Interesting night at the dome. Always a better atmosphere when the flames win. Some happened tonight that has never happened before.. The story goes like this.. When I was just starting my job at the dome, maybe 2-3 or weeks in. I was kind of nervous about initiating small talk with patrons, so I took the advice of a veteran usher who has since passed away (R.I.P. Al) he said just get them to predict the score and then you do the same, its a great way to break the ice I have carried the tradition of predicting scores with me for every flames game I have worked in the past 8 years. Quite often certain season ticket holders, off ice officials and even local media will ask whats the score tonight? And tonight for the first time ever. I finally got one right
