Interesting phone call...from an unknown point of origin, according to my Caller ID. The caller said he represented Microsoft, and it had been determined that my computer was infected, without my knowing it. When I asked how Microsoft managed to determine this, since I didnt have my systems set up to share diagnostic data with the company, he hung up. Gee. Surprise. Be cautious, FB friends. Im sure this call was an attempt to hack my system by getting me to initiate a remote diagnostic/repair session, turning over control of my computer to him or an associate. Yes, scum floats on the ocean of humanity. @ssholes.
