Interesting read as I prepare for my final Black Friday weekend in retail, especially after being yelled at by customers on Thanksgiving last year BEFORE I even entered the store. If you decide to go out and shop tonight and/or tomorrow just please be respectful of the workers that have been overworked in the weeks leading up to this weekend, and the workers who are missing out with valuable time with their families so you can save some money on your holiday shopping. And I beg you, please do not go up to an employee tonight and say it is a shame you have to work on thanksgiving as you wheel a new TV to your car. Just wish the person a Happy Thanksgiving and smile because they could really use it, especially after cutting their own Thanksgiving traditions short. And most importantly please remember what today is really about. Be thankful for the ones in your life who matter the most. And dont just tell them, SHOW them.
