Interesting route. So many, including the NY Times, have pointed to the lakes located on this map between the ancient cities Succoth and Rameses as the likely crossing for the Exodus. Roman historians indicate that the area had no water. It was described as 125 miles of sand in the first Century CE. The lakes were formed in the 1800s when Britain and France constructed the Suez Canal. Mt Sinai is in Arabia where St Paul said it was located in Galatians 4:25. My statement is supported by artifacts discovered and the Midian site in Arabia.
