Interesting story: just skim on it! She sat alone in the orphanage-no parents, no siblings and no relatives. She was without connection in the world, powerless and headed for a life of anonymity. One day two visitors came to the orphanage. They were financially prepared and eager to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which a child could grow. Thats the one the wife said, looking at the little girl. The father scooped up the child and said, little girl youre now our daughter. Soon you will come to live in the place weve been preparing for you. What did the orphan do to deserve the kindness of those couples? Nothing! Why did they choose her? We dont know. But they did, and it had nothing to do with any action on her part. They simply had love to give, and set their affection on this child. Do you know thats how God feel about you also? Youre like that orphan. God comes to you today with the invitation to grow up in his home, live with his guidance, and enjoy his provision. Gods arms are open, and hes saying Come live with me. Why not accept his sincere invitation today?
