Interesting story regarding this condition: My Middle School - TopicsExpress

Interesting story regarding this condition: My Middle School English teacher would give us prompts to write on every morning based on our behaviour in class the previous class or classes. She once gave me one that read Why are you always so tired? I responded with the condition and brief explanation in the picture below, and mentioned that I had just started reading H.P. Lovecrafts Call of Cthulhu. Turns out that Lovecraft was her favourite author. The next day she placed the following prompt on my desk that went as follows: I have spoken with your Dean and we both agree that, in light of your masterful grasp of grammatical structure, your immense vocabulary, and your astonishing literary comprehension, you are far beyond the level of any English class we can offer. To keep in accordance with laws and policy, however, you must still attend one. Therefore, from this point on, you will have one daily assignment from me. Upon entering my class in the morning, you will hand me a typed document with the title of the book you spent the night reading, the page number you left off on (if any), and a brief summary of what has occured in the story (if fiction) or what you learned/found interesting (if non fiction). You may then choose to stay for class, or proceed to the nurses office for a nap. On a personal note, I request that you spend your lunch with me in the faculty lounge so we might discuss your views and observations in regards to literature, life, philosophy, etc. I am particularly eager to hear your views on the work of H.P. Lovecraft. This is a request, not a command, and the decision is yours to make.
