Interesting times in Ghana! I know how Ras Mubarak spoke and wrote in an abusively disparaging manner when the then NPP government led by President Kufuor privatized Ghana Telecom. What do we see him do today? The Mahama-led NDC government has privatized the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and Ras Mubarak is singing praises, praising Mahama for such act. This person without principles is the head (and I mean head) of the National Youth Authority. How can the NYA see any meaning change(s) when such a person is the head? Such a person is rewarded with such a position just for virtually insulting former President Kufuor for bringing in private partners with the intention of salvaging the then ailing Ghana Telecom. This is one example of cronyism and nepotism that has characterized President Mahamas leadership where people are giving positions in government just because they can insult or for the role they played in bringing the party to office. If these acts were bad in Kufuors administration it definitely should be wrong this time around. This could be nothing than hypocrisy! God bless Ghana!!!
