Interior Architectural Producer Our boutique architectural firm is seeking an independently minded Producer with an entrepreneurial, problem solving personality to grow with our tenant design team. This Producer will be working under a Project Manager producing drawings from the Space Design phase through the Construction Document phase until he/she is ready to take over their own projects from start to finish. Qualifications: - Proficient with newer versions of Autocad (We are using Autocad 2013) - 5 years of experience producing commercial interior remodel project plans preferred - Associates degree or higher preferred - Basic knowledge of State accessibility codes and City of Houston egress codes - Attention to detail very important - Experience with 3D modeling/rendering preferred - Ability to learn and replicate our firm’s drafting standards - Team player dedicated to long term company goals - Ability to work independently and efficiently in fast paced environment to complete deadline driven tasks - Ability to understand and work within budgets assigned to tasks - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to be able to work under the guidance of a project manager and communicate with clients - Experience in measuring and inputting existing wall and MEP conditions into CAD plans - Salary: Depends on experience What will you do: - Work under Project Manager in commercial architectural industry while being trained to handle project management independently from start to finish. The main focus is office remodel type projects. Working on fast paced projects from the Space Design phase through the creation of Construction Drawings for permit as well as field verification of existing conditions, square footage calculations, elevations, details and 3D modeling.
