[Intern recruitment ad] Hong Kong Unison is recruiting 1 to 2 undergraduate student interns for December 2014 and January 2015. Interns will have a chance to learn about advocacy, public education and community organizing, and the situation of ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. Issues we focus on include education of ethnic minorities and anti-discrimination legislation. Duties of the interns may include the following: • Assisting in community outreach, • Planning public education campaigns, • Assisting in writing submissions to the Government, the Legislative Council, etc, • Assisting in liaising with the press, and • Research Social science, social work or law majors are preferred.
