International Night at Mayas school was really fun. I thought there would just be tastes of food from the countries, but I am stuffed. Lemongrass rice and Thai noodles, plantains 4 ways from Ghana, Vegemite Sammys, macadamia nuts, and Tim tams from Australia, cheese, scones, and tea in colonial Britain, shortbread cookies from Scotland, and I cant even remember what I ate in Suriname, Italy, Jamaica, Switzerland, or Haiti... Oh, and Mayas class was Australia so I got to take my didgeridoos and try to teach kids how to play. :)
