International Observe the Moon Night. September 6th is fast approaching and we are making preparations for the evening. Telescopes are being readied and activities planned and talks prepared. I wanted to share today the schedule for the Star Theater for the evenings events. From: 7:35 pm – 8:10 pm Earth, Moon & Sun - Planetarium Program 8:20 pm – 8:50 pm Origin and Structure of the Moon - Dr. Eric Jerde 9:00 pm – 9:30 pm Returning to the Moon with Nanosatellites- the Lunar Flashlight Mission and Morehead State University – Dr. Benjamin Malphrus 9:40 pm – 10:10 pm Did we really go to the Moon? - Dr. Eric Jerde 10:20 – 11:10 pm Laser Pink Floyd – Dark Side of the Moon (Laser Show) Keep an eye out for further announcements with activity schedules and more details.
