International United Nations Day Celebrations Friday, October 17, saw the IBSB Community welcoming Mr Adam Sambrook, Deputy British Ambassador, along with a number of international and Romanian schools on to campus for the annual IBSB United Nations Day Celebrations. The day was a celebration of all that is truly international, with an international buffet lunch provided for students, parents, teachers, and guests, followed by a live performance programme with acts from around the world. It was also a day dedicated to the idea of community and international cooperation- people working together for a common good- which is central to the IBSB curriculum and approach to education. We would like to thank Mr Sambrook, DSBU, Avenor College Scoala 64 Ferdinand, the students from Fundatia Sfanta Macrina, the various charities and community partners who had stands here on the day, and Borsec who kindly supplied the refreshments, for all your support as your combined involvement made the day truly special for everyone present BCR, Cărți, Dulciuri și Flori, The Little Gym Bucharest, DENT Estet 4 Teens, Light Into Europe Charity, Prior Books, Magiun de prune Topoloveni , British Council Romania.
