They wanted to understand what our position is and what would what would bring us to the discussion table with the army. Our reply was both informal and formal; we told [Catherine] Ashton that three things are required: First, a full reversal of the coup, a full reinstatement of the constitutional legitimacy of the state, which includes reinstating the president reactivating the constitution and reinstalling the Shura Council. Second, condemnation of the military coup.
