Introducing…SUMMER QUEST CAMP! Do you know of any 12-21 year olds needing a safe, fun social “hang-out” for this summer? Welcome to Summer Quest Camp…a unique day camp for individuals (ages 12-21) who generally benefit from extra support as they strive for daily success within school, community and recreation settings. You are receiving this information as someone in your household or that you know may be in need of a fun, safe place to recreate this summer. I invite you to review the following information in consideration of your family’s needs and/or forward to other appropriate contacts. We’re planning a fantastic summer filled with opportunities to explore international wonders, develop friendships and life skills, while experiencing a variety of activities such as: Swimming (twice weekly!) Trips (local sites, Ride-Able, coast, Wildlife Safari, etc.) Camp projects & games (cooking, science/exploratory, art, etc.) Volunteer/service projects Outdoor recreation (rafting, challenge course activities, etc.) We look forward to learning more about our campers, so that we can build in activities of interest to them, as well as structure the program to provide as much individual and group success as possible. Please know that we are ready and willing to meet individually with campers/families, prior to and during camp, in order to support an enjoyable and memorable experience for all. Summer Quest is an 8-week day-camp at Washington Park Community Center (2025 Washington St, Eugene – Friendly Neighborhood area): Monday-Friday, July 1 – August 23. Available full-day (9:30a-4:30p) or half-day (9:30a-1:00p or 1:00-4:30p) Camp’s summer 2013 theme Amazing Global Adventures is taking on an international flavor with weekly themes such as: Sizzlin’ Ventures South of the Boarder European Voyages Mystical Treasures of the Orient Hailin’ from the Land Down Under Sailin’ the Seven Seas African Safari Summer in the USA See the attached flier for more information.
