Introducing the lovely Shira, a sweet middle aged girl who is looking for a new forever home through no fault of her own. Shira can initially be a bit wary of new people but after a quick inspection and a cuddle she will be your new best friend. She is a very clever girl who knows lots of commands including sit, down and bark. She is house trained and can travel in a car. Shira is a light eater and prefers to graze throughout the day on her food. She shows no signs of food guarding. She does not care very much for toys much preferring a belly rub or cuddle. She also shows no negativity around her toys, allowing you to play with her. Shira enjoys her walks and walks well on a lead. Shira can be a little choosy with her doggie friends so a dog free home or a home with a smaller breed laid back male companion would suit her the best. As Shira has never lived with children we could only place her with older dog aware children, young children could not be considered. Shira is an amazingly affectionate dog who is very loyal and loving. Her confidence has increased lots over the years and now is full of life and excitement.
