Introversion, how I experience it, is frustratingly difficult to explain to those in whom its not natively known. This is especially so for someone seemingly paradoxical like myself, who--though utterly introverted at core--often seems otherwise, due to my developed social skills (primarily resulting from the nurture of the diametrically opposing personality of my mother). Yet Ive never subscribed to the premise of to those who know, no explanation is necessary; to those who do not, no explanation is possible--in this or anything else: thats an intellectual cop-out at best. So in interest of interesting clarifications, this song illustrates as well, if not better, than anything else Ive encountered--aesthetic or not--the experience of introversion vis-à-vis the world.
