Investigation begins after woman’s body found at Lithgow: Police are appealing for information after the suspicious death of a woman at Lithgow overnight. About 8am today (Tuesday June 3), emergency services were called to house in Wrights Road at Lithgow after a 13-year-old boy and his 18-year-old brother awoke to find their mother unconscious. Despite the efforts of emergency services at the scene, the 46-year-old local woman was unable to be revived. While a post mortem examination will officially determine how the woman died, her death is being treated as suspicious.
