Invisibilty. 13th January 2015. Education is their enemy, pure knowledge is their foe We’re armed with healthy options they don’t want us to know We’re informed, educated, by the social media they designed And now our heritage and culture will soon be redefined. In the past submissive selves gave in and showed the controllers adulation But the pain of unheard voices, still cried out for salvation We were never in the dialogue; we’re always outside looking in As invisible voices answered us but kept their secrets deep within. A contactless society where real answers can’t and don’t exist Wrapped loosely around pleasantries they float off in the mist I hear them sneer at words in prose criticising what they preach In the hope that we’ll submit once more but now we’re out of reach We are not those self-defeatists who entrench themselves with fear But we’ve hearts that won’t stop beating for the country we revere And succumb no more to policies that determine and abuse This country’s vulnerable citizens, the disabled, old, confused From gang of legal crime lords who deem themselves invincible Just fun loving criminals who, to us, remain invisible.
