[16:125] one day I had a conversation with my brother.its just a small talk but yet the topic that we were discussing is pretty much important IMO. I edited this story a bit but the real content that I would like to share is still there though. so....Dont Complain! :) Brother : you know what..sometimes I think the way that the daie giving dawah is just too mainstream.. Me : so what? as long as people hearing it. It doesnt really matter..I think.. Brother : except they DONT. I mean there are many people hearing it but not many would take heed. I give you a simple example. I seen it many times that whenever theres a Islamic talk being held, you could see hundreds of people coming just for the sake of it. But then the next day, only the Imam, Muazzin/Bilal, and very few people coming for the Fajr prayer. What a joke! I think the people is just going for the talk just to see the ustadh/ustadhah without understanding the content of the talk.. Me : you got a point there. so what do you suggest? We held a talk before the Fajr time? LOL Brother : No! eventhough that one could work...haha.. Well what I think is that only the approach or the way the daie is giving dawah just need a little bit of improvisation you know.. Me: such as? Brother : Okay! If someone ask you what is taqwa, how do you wanna answer them?after giving the Quran verses, hadith..etc? Me : ........ Brother : its simple :) Imagine you were driving a car so fast above the speed limit, then suddenly you see a police officer just about a kilometer in front of you. What would you do?
