Ireland must be seen as a nation which respects data protection and privacy In Saturdays Irish Times our colleague Dr TJ McIntyre, the chair of Digital Rights Ireland, reflected on the lessons to be drawn from disclosures by Edward Snowden (pictured) of mass surveillance on a global scale.
