Ireland today...city tour of Dublin (smooched on an orange cat that lives at Christchurch cathedral), then through the countryside to the mountains to a wool mill (pretty sure mom and I did a good job helping out the local economy after that stop), then lunch and a pint of Guinness, and finally to the ruins of a 4th century monastery with a cemetery that is still in use. Still cant wrap my mind around standing in a location where people have walked and lived for nearly 1000 years! Got two life birds today: hooded crow and chaffinch. Have seen gannets, kittiwakes, and Manx shearwaters from the ship...still hoping for storm petrels!
