Irresponsible, alarmist and illustrative of incompetence on so many levels. 1. There is no evidence of anyone in Central America contracting Ebola. Using that as an excuse to fear-monger immigrants from there is utterly irresponsible and despicable. On the other hand, we do have cases in Texas from incompetence in Dallas... should we seal off Texas at the state line? 2. An infected person is no shape to deliver Ebola to other people, nor is an infectious person capable of doing much in that department. Sending infected people is not a feasible way of attacking the US with Ebola. However, if a terrorist group could isolate and weaponize Ebola in some way it would be a fearsome weapon. Joe WIlson is not smart enough to figure that out, though. 3. Hamas hysteria. The creed Wilson mentions is more a statement of Hamas militants saying they are willing to die for their cause which, in case you havent noticed is liberating Palestinians from brutal Israeli occupation, not attacking the US. Hamas has no beef with US... or is at least smart enough not to pick that fight. On a related note, there are a lot of people who like to hyperventilate about Hamas wanting to wipe Israel out. In fact, Hamas rescinded that part of their charter in 2006 and moderated their position to say they would abide by a peace deal with Israel. Rockets from Gaza have killed fewer than 50 Israelis in the past ten years, Israel has killed 5,000 Palestinians in the same period. Stop killing, start talking. No excuses. While Wilson hyperventilates about Hamas on the stump, at least his office is smart enough to tack back to ISIS when contacted by the press, but still not very encouraging about Wilsons own smarts.
