Irritated by commentary of the CIA torture scandal today which states and it didnt even work. Torture is not acceptable on any grounds. Its a breach of a universal human right. To those who say needs must, just look at how the Abu Grahib abuses acted as a recruiting sergeant for Al Qaeda. And we in the UK are not free of guilt. We may not have conducted torture but we gladly took the information extracted from it, and quite possibly acquiesced in rendition cases. Parliament should be informed in full of Britains role, however detached. When terrorism perverts our democratic, decent way of life then it has won. Never again.
