It is very interesting to see our honourable Matero Mp miles Sampa simply sacrificing to miss his almost K250,000 gratuity from government this September just to empower the youths out there by buying 10spacios to be used a metro cabs (taxi). I want to commend the deputy minister and also MP for this gesture made but my question would be how is he giving back to the community or is he ploughing back from the community/constituency? Those lucky drivers who won themselves a 3year contract with metro cabs will now abandon their old taxis I believe to work for Miles Sampa. According to the information I have, those drivers have been instructed to make monthly cashing of K600 per month for a period of 3years if they want to fully own the spacios. Mathematically I think Miles is intelligently recovering the money he spent on the spacios to repay his loan from Indo Zambia Bank. If he is really empowering the youths, can somebody tell me what the money these drivers will be cashing every month is going to be used for...is it going back into Sampas pocket in turn, he does not miss his gratuity or is it going to remain in the constituency accounts acting like CDF? Really I do not see reason to celebrate for his gesture after all because it is not clear if he will also be paying these drivers monthly salaries or not. If he will be paying them, then I guess he will be almost fulfilling PFs manifesto of job creation. Anyway, its politics and I feel this was strategically not done in good faith but as a campaign propaganda. If Sampa can explain how he will use the money amounting K600 to be cashed in by the 10 drivers per month times 3years maybe I would be satisfied.
