Is God imaginary? Is your definition of God some kind of borrowed thing that someone else made up? Perhaps available definitions have been too confining for you to justify and realize the Divine thats in you. Perhaps God is defined by physics not religion: 1) It is proven mathematically that at the quantum level every particle in the universe is aware that you observe them. Just by observing a particle (anything) you collapse a wave form of possibilities into a singular event. How can matter be conscious? Its called the double slit experiment. Its amazing - if you havent heard of it - you would do well to familiarize yourself with this experiment. It might change how you view reality. 2) all energy and matter are interchangeable and can not be created or destroyed. Basically put...everything is invincible energy. This energy is connected holographically, which means that the entirety of the information of the entire universe is present in all places, even in the most fundamental particles...Every unit of matter has the holographic information of the whole universe. Theres a great book called the holographic universe by Michael Talbot that gets much deeper if youre interested. 3) Subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. It doesnt matter whether they are 10 feet or 10 billion miles apart. This violates the principle that nothing can travel faster then the speed of light. Subatomic particles are able to remain in contact with one another regardless of the distance separating them - not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal back and forth, but because their separateness is an illusion. At some deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are actually extensions of the same fundamental something. Separateness is an illusion. IN CONCLUSION: when I was an atheist and a devotee of science and reason I could not argue against the facts that: 1) that the universe is totally conscious of me down to the quantum level 2) everything is energy and at the most fundamental level contains the information of the entirety of the universe. 3) everything is connected. So everything is conscious and connected energy that at has an equal informational value - and has always been that way since the moment of the Big Bang. When I realized this I instantly felt a presence that in its very nature I am part of. The only illusions were believing that I wasnt connected to nature and that nature wasnt aware of me AND that I was somehow not valued with equanimity to the most amazing and complex aspects of nature. The truth is we have inherited all of these conditions just by simply existing - and get this - the entire information of your existence has been realized and encoded and a part of the system of the universe since the Big Bang - and will remain throughout all infinity. Sounds like new age philosophy. Its not. Its science. These things are qualities that woke up a realization of what God is within me....that God is defined by, contains and transcends the totality of time, energy, and information of this entire universe...and each fundamental unit of Gods universe is as valuable and amazing as the entire universe itself and is always conscious of your being alive and of your awareness. Wow!...a God that is conscious of me, unconditional in my connection to it, and contains everything from all of time itself. From this perspective Science and Spirit are one. This is a 21st century understanding of God....not some Neolithic collection of legends that has an exclusionary and conditional aspect to its participation. The Universe as you know it - including your default connection to it - is God. It is your birthright to claim you are one of Gods divine children. You dont need religion to realize this. Perhaps science will be the catalyst towards world peace. This isnt meant to challenge ones belief in a religion - it is meant to help bring to your awareness that there is no conflict between science and your personal spiritual unconditional relationship with the Divine.
