If NYs environmental officials say yes to fracking, theyll seek to cover themselves by promising to be oh-so-much more vigilant than those folks in North Dakota. But, ask yourself this: What will such promises to vigilantly police fracking be worth, when state officials refused to involve the public in their secret fracking health study; expanded their amnesty policy for environmental violations; cut environmental agency staff by 35%; and, decreased enforcement cases even further? And what will be our response, if NY tries to brazen it out and bring the frack?
