Is Speaker Boehner engineering “Amnesty” as his final legacy - TopicsExpress

Is Speaker Boehner engineering “Amnesty” as his final legacy and our Last Hurrah? Rumors have persisted for months that Speaker Boehner will be retiring after this secession of Congress. Yesterday, Ralph Wall Sr. reported on the Tea Party Command Center that, “Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has cleared the way for Eric Cantor (R-Va.) to succeed John Boehner as the next Speaker. Ryan this week said he’s not interested in becoming Speaker, preferring to head the influential Ways and Means Committee in 2015. Boehner has repeatedly said he’s not retiring at the end of this Congress, but that hasn’t tamped down speculation that the Ohio Republican is considering retirement.” Id be surprised if he did [stay], said one former senior aide to Boehner, who, like many consulted for this article, spoke on condition of anonymity to protect their relationships. (HuffPost spoke to four top former Boehner aides, two current aides, five former leadership aides close to Boehners inner circle, and a GOP operative on familiar terms with his circle.) You may remember that The Washington Times reported last December 3d that, “House Speaker John A. Boehner announced Tuesday that he has hired a longtime advocate[ Rebecca Tallent] of legalizing illegal immigrants to be an adviser, signaling that the Republican is still intent on trying to pass an immigration bill during this congressional session. Immigrant rights advocates cheered the move as a sign of Mr. Boehner’s dedication to action.” But who is the speaker’s master? Why would the Speaker be pushing Amnesty? Perhaps we can glean some insight from a September 2010 New York Times story that said that Boehner was Tightly Bound to Lobbyists and He maintains especially tight ties with a circle of lobbyists and former aides representing some of the nation’s biggest businesses, including Goldman Sachs, Google, Citigroup, R.J. Reynolds, MillerCoors and UPS. Then we read in a January 10, 2014 Breitbart article by Matthew Boyle that, “House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) is set to push for full-blown amnesty this year per the marching orders the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has given GOP leaders in Congress. He will make this announcement in an interview set to air Sunday on Telemundo. Hmm ...marching orders from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Specifically, Goodlatte was referring to the so-called immigration “principles” that Rebecca Tallent, the pro-amnesty adviser to House Speaker John Boehner, is overseeing. Goodlatte confirmed that Boehner’s office is drafting the amnesty “principles” but that he and others in the House are advising the Speaker’s team on the matter.” So there you have it. We now have a government in Washington that has deteriorated to the point that “Lobbyist” rather than “We the People, are now able to purchase, direct and control legislation that will forever affect the societal and political future of our country. Lobbyists are now in charge of Amnesty Legislation that will result in crippling our 2-party system while at the same time deviously exchanging the world’s most unique “ Republic” or as Dinesh D’Sousa says”… freest and most decent society in existence” for just another “Democracy”.
