Is This the Way to Restore My Joy? Posted on November 6, 2013 by BibleBelieverNet Is this the way God wanted us to restore our joy? Delight thyself in the Lord and he shall thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord, trust in him and he will bring it to pass. Sometimes we have to wait on him, but God has promised to bring froth our righteousness as the light. We get our light from Jesus Christ and our righteousness. Oh, what a passage. There is much truth in this passage. It does say rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him. We are not supposed to get upset or fret that God has not brought prosperity to our way. The wicked will always be with us in this age. They will always have their devices. God says to cease from anger and forsake wrath or plot to do evil against your brothers and sisters. Evil doers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the earth. The time of wicked shall be short and the meek shall inherit the earth and delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plots and the LORD laughs at him because the LORD sees his judgment day coming. Who am I to question God’s judgment? The wicked have drawn out the sword against the poor and needy. The poor and needy belong to God and he will take care of them. Read this for yourself and believe. Is it truth? Is this what the scripture says. Psalms 37:4-23 (KJV) Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. 13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. 16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. 18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. 19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. 21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. 22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. The wicked will perish. The arms of the wicked will be broken. The Lord upholds the righteous and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall be consumed away. See the wicked borrows and does not repay. The saints of God, the righteous shows mercy and gives much. Those blessed of him shall inherit the earth. If you are saved you are blessed of the LORD God. If you have trusted in him, you are blessed of God. If you delight in him, God will give you his joy. God wants you to be happy in the LORD. God wants you to be blessed in the LORD, but you have turn to him to receive this blessing. Notice the steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD and God delights in that person’s way. Isn’t God so wonderful to us who are his? Father God, Help me this day. Help me to follow you. Hide this message behind the cross of Jesus Christ and give Jesus Christ the glory for its preaching. Help me to know the joy of the LORD. Help me delight in you, LORD. Help me to find someone to fellowship with. Help me find the person you have for me to know. Help others to find this joy in you. Help others to know you love them. Help them to know God is real. Help them to find out your truths for themselves. Help them to please you, LORD. Thank you for this message. Help those in need this day. Help those who are weak in this day. Bless the churches, bless the families and help them to prosper in righteousness for your sake. Thank you for saving my soul.
