Is Your Past Trying to Rob You? Are you letting it, by living a life of regret by thinking, IF ONLY? If only I had finished that college education. If only I had married the right person! If only I had taken the other job. If only I had not wasted so much time not serving the Lord! Is your past robbing you of the JOY of today? Are you just going through the motions of each day, without any JOY in your life? Well here is how to have the JOY of being a Born Again Believer......Forget the Regrets of your past! Philippians 3:12–14 Not that I have already obtained it (total Redemption) or have already become perfect,(in soul or body) but I press on so that I may lay hold of that (Gods plans for me) for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Some of you might say, you do not know what I have done in the past! Or you do not realize how bad I was and how bad my life is now, because of past mistakes! But think for a moment, about the man who God used for His purposes, that man Paul, who wrote the scripture above, from Prison, being chained to a Roman guard day and night. If the devil had anything from the past, to bring against Paul, it would be reminders of how he had persecuted the early church and caused the deaths of many, Born Again Believers, including Stephen, the first Christian martyr. Paul had done horrible things that were hard for him to forget. But he had such a revelation of God’s Awesome Forgiveness, Grace, Mercy and Love, that he could say, forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Jesus the Christ. GOD HAS FORGIVEN YOU ALL OF YOUR SINS, PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE! AND DECLARED IN HEBREWS 10:15-18 And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, 16 THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART, AND ON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM, He then says, 17 AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE. 18 Now where there is forgiveness of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin. So once you become a Born Again Believer, you can forget ALL the bad things from you past and do not let the Evil ones or Anyone bring them to you in word or thought. God has taken care of all of it, if you are a Born Again Belliever! God will take the Tears of yesterday and turn them into the Miracles of tomorrow. He can even restore to you in abundance all that you have lost. As a Born Again Believer, you are FORGIVEN AND THERE IS NOTHING MORE THAT CAN BE AN OFFERING FOR SIN! GOD HAS MADE A COVENANT WITH JESUS, THAT BY HIS SACRIFICE ALL SIN HAS BEEN COVERED! EVERY SIN, PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE FOR ALL WHO COME BY FAITH! SO IF YOU DO SIN, JUST CONFESS IT AND GOD HAS PROMISED JESUS THAT HE WILL FORGIVE IT AND CLEANSE YOU FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. AND THEN HE REMEMBERS IT NO MORE! So if God does not hold your past against you, then how can you, the evil ones or Anyone... hold it against you? We are not made perfect in soul and body yet, so in this world, we will sin, we will make mistakes....but when we do, confess them, be cleansed of all unrighteousness and press on in the Joy of the Lord and in Gods plans for your life. For what God has began in you, He will bring it to pass. 1 John 1:5-10 This is the message we have heard from Him (God) and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness,(live in constant sinful lifestyles) we lie and do not practice the truth; 7 but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. 1 Thessalonians 5:14-24 We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. 16 Rejoice always; 17 pray without ceasing; 18 in everything give thanks; for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not quench the (fire of the Holy) Spirit; 20 do not despise prophetic utterances. 21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; 22 abstain from every form of evil. 23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (at the day of Redemption our glorified body, will be with our glorified soul and spirit and we will be completely glorified) 24 Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. Romans 8:28-31 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (all Born Again Believers) 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son (Jesus), so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?........Press on in the JOY of the Lord, it is YOUR STRENGTH! https://youtube/watch?v=Jx18guMZV9A
