Is anyone else a little confused over the whole Alsopp feminist argument? Women tearing into each other over what is essentially a deeply personal decision, and the forgetting that it was the right to have that Decision in how to lead our lives as women which was so fiercely fought for in the first place? Do we really have to announce out stance as firmly on one side or the other of this proverbial fence: career v family? I am a product of what generations before me fought tooth and nail for - not a raging woman shouting about my rights, but living it in complete understanding that at no point in my life have I or anyone around me said NO because I am a woman. It if they it has been suggested I have laughed it off and had a go anyway. Now before some says arent I lucky, yes I am. There are women and men out there living in inequality and adversity all over the world. Lets fight for their rights.
