Is it OK for people to commit acts of treason for their cause? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On this day in 1969, Dwight and Karl Armstrong stole a twin engined Cessna plane from an airport outside Madison, flew 53 miles north and dropped three bombs on the Badger Army Ammunition Plant (pictured) in protest against the Vietnam War. The brothers uncle had previously worked at the plant and had been killed in a workplace accident. The bombs failed to explode.
