Is it a smart strategy for a female TG brand extension (Raga) to show the man as an intrusive, chauvinistic jerk, when the mother brand caters largely to the male TG? Lest I am summarily branded a misogynist, the theme of female empowerment is the right idea to espouse, but for brands that want your money primarily, at the end of the day, is stereotyping a set of their TG a good strategy, strictly from the marketig sense? Case in point being the previous remarriage commercial of Raga, which had a positive rub-off on both TGs.
