Is it good to be contented? Yes! End of line. Nothing else to say! Nothing? For a long time I would have agreed and I saw my contentment as an achievement! But lately I see to many people content but not happy. So it is better to say I am contented because I have reached the ceiling of my abilities! This actually was the start of this line of thought. Many people address me and ask for advice and more often for help or assistance money wise. To state it clearly, I do not think that giving money is a good help. Some years back in Germany I was in serious financial problems and ask a rich longtime friend for a load. He refused! I was not happy but accepted it as a fact and used my creativity to solve the problems with my own powers. If my friend would have given me the loan I would have continued with my life which brought me into this situation. Most likely it would have come to another crash with me deeper into debts. Whatever your current problem is a) solve it now b) see it as a gift form God/Allah/life as a signal to change I think the biggest obstacle to get out of a problem, is our tendency to continue with our life as if we would not have a problem. At this point we do not resist change, we do not even see it as an option. And the second advice I can give is do not give up after one attempt failed! Look at a baby when it starts to learn to walk, it tries and tries until it can walk, no matter how often it falls. That was you too!!! YOU did not give up! Maybe that was what Jesus meant when he said You have to become like children again!
