Is it normal for the comb to be less red and even kind of pale when chickens lay down? We see this with our silver laced Wyandotte. She seems fine but her comb gets pale when she lays down. She has become more mellow recently and doesnt hang out with the rest of the girls buy her comb has done the pale thing for months. So you can see it here. Now when she gets up and walks around...nice and red. Normal?
