Is it really only a little after 9am?! We have had two rough nights in a row...Grayson has been up a ton at night. Really restless and doesnt seem to be able to sleep well. This morning at 630, he woke up and had diarrhea. Brady and I cleaned him, the bedding, and everything else that fell victim! He was in a FOUL mood from the get-go. We had bloodwork at 830am at TMH and boy, was he ugly to the sweet nurses. Hitting, screaming. It was quick and easy aside from his demeanor and we headed to the car. I put him in his seat and he became angry! While folding up the stroller I hear Kate yell, no, no, no!!!. He got his NG tube halfway out. I pushed it back in and got him calmed down. Thinking he was over his fit...I ran to the drivers side to get in and by the time I opened the door, he was flailing again and the tube was all the way out. Sigh. We are working with our primary doctor, TMHs Kids Korner, and Shands to see if we can replace it here in Tallahassee. I am exhausted, defeated, and feel like I need at least two of me since it seems I cant be more than arms length away from Grayson at any given time. As good as the NG tube and the nighttime feedings have been for him, it sure adds a challenging element to this whole circumstance. Is it nap time yet!?!
