Khartoum until 2011,supplied 5%of chinas crude oil imports.Apart from supplying arms to Sudan,China vowed to use its veto on d UN,to protect Sudan.Over 1,193,blue berets in S.Sudan.Chinas CNPC,invested over 7USD (Billions),to fortify UNMISS.They gave a grant of USD 2.3bn to UPDF,Their Sinohydro Company,won a contract to construct Karuma power dam! China gave Kenya a whooping sum of USD 2.6bn in 2013,for the purchase of security communications equipment.In DRC,a Chinese consortium sicomines,won a 3bn USD deal.Another Chinese consortium is among 3 top contenders for the construction of the USD 800bn Inga3 project with capacity of 40,000MW.Whats your take on the above Chinese interventions in Africa?? Do they appear as potential econ and military friends than the West,or they harbour a hidden agenda?
