Is it true that Jesus’ task is to introduce the Name of God? “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” John 17:25-26 NIV Or in another version: O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:25-26 NKJV The question is – what is the Name of God that Jesus taught or declared to us? The answer is NONE - which signifies that he failed in his mission. What is the proof? Considering the prophecy in II Samuel 7:12-14 that if the descendant of David commits a wrong or an iniquity, he will be punished with the rod of men. The implication that Jesus was flogged with the rod of men shows that he committed iniquity. Therefore, he failed in his mission.
