Is the news of 60 acres off the Lynnway going to bid soon... Good or Bad? Is this a GE site? Is trading our industrial and commercial sites for more residential (towers or high rises) a progressive move forward or backward for the economy in the long run? There are several sites in Lynn which have done this, and neglected existing residential areas. Proposals of development along the Lynnway by developers have been kept secret from the public. Simply wrong. Where have the genius job creators and leadership gone? Temp. const jobs is not enough... Our economy needs construction job creation & a continuous lifetime of job holdings on these reserved commercial areas instead of another dead end residential project. I would like to see the Lynnway remain industrial & commercial, with added hospitality (hotel, restaurant, museum, venues), entertainment, amusement & recreational spaces.
