Is there anything heartier or full of bluster than a Pirate bragging! I hope you are up for it because here goes!!!! The Texas Education Agency released the academic distinctions today for the state for the 2014 school year. This is one proud Pirate Principal with some magnificent news! Our staff and our students together.....have earned not one (as last year)....but....wait for it....FOUR Academic Distinctions! Those are incredible accomplishments and it is more than appropriate for those of Pirate Lore to refer to us as Harvard On The Hill. Our kids and staff are simply amazing! Great job WHS! The Distintions are: Academic Achievement in Science Academic Achievement in Social Studies Top 25 Percent: Closing Performance Gaps Postsecondary Readiness Let it be known far and wide!!!! We are Wylie High School.....and we not only make a difference in the lives around us.....We Achieve! Hows that for some bragging! Arrghh! A H M O
