Is there finally some light at the end of the tunnel ? Were finally seeing the end to this unseasonal stretch of warmer than usual air temperatures, humid air and south winds. The air temperature will start to decrease very slowly next week and settle to normal December levels (16 C highs and 11 C lows) by Republic Day. The humidity levels will return to their normal levels and the wind turn NW for good sometime before Republic Day. Therefore, we believe that temperatures around Christmas should be much like those of a typical winter or slightly warmer (0.5 C - 1 C warmer).
