Is your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? DoublePortionInheritance By Maria Merola There are many people who are under the illusion that they are “saved” or that they are the “elect” just because they went through the motions of “saying a sinners prayer,” or they got dunked in water. But that does guarantee that they are wheat. You see, in the same way that a seed will not always germinate if it is not sown into good soil, so it is that everyone who does a superficial repentance will not always germinate as wheat. Only the Father knows who are the wheat and who are the tares. There are many tares who think they are wheat because they do external things that appear righteous, but if they never have their hearts circumcised, and they are not obeying Towrah out pure love for YaHuWaH, then it is all in vain. These are called “dead works” to be burned up like wood, hay and stubble at the day of his return (1st Corinthians 3:10-15). By this standard, people will lose their so-called salvation or what they thought that they had but they never really did. Back in June of 2007, as I read Psalm 139:15, the Spirit of YaHuWaH revealed to something very deep and profound to me. Tehilliym (Psalm) 139:15 My substance was not hid from you, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. When I read this, I was struck by the fact that we are formed in the lowest parts of the earth and this is also the same place where Yahuwshuwa gave gifts unto men (in lowest parts of the earth): Ephsiym (Ephesians) 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? This is when I realized that we are given the gift of salvation when we are being formed in womb! But at the end, if we do not overcome, then we can have our names blotted out! In Revelation 3:5, Yahuwshuwa addresses the congregation at Sardis and he tells them that if they overcome, their names will not be blotted out of the Book of Life! Everyone gets an equal opportunity to be saved, and at the end, if they do not overcome by the blood of the lamb and by the word of his testimony, they will have their names blotted out. This totally debunks the Calvinistic idea that YaHuWaH has purposely formed vessels of wrath fitted for destruction. He never created anyone for the purpose of pouring out his wrath on them. He says that “it is not his will that any should perish, but that all might come to repentance” (2nd Peter 3:9). When Paul wrote that he has created some to be vessels of honor and some vessels of wrath fitted for destruction (Romans 9:22), it simply means that he knows that some will never repent, so he uses them as examples. It does not mean that he wants them to be vessels of wrath. In 1st Peter 1:2, it says that the elect are “after the foreknowledge of the Father” but it also says that they are “sprinkled with the blood and sanctified by the Spirit.” This means that the Father alone knows who will accept the blood of Yahuwshuwa as atonement for their sins, and who will be set-apart (sanctified) by his Spirit! YaHuWaH already knows in advance who will repent and who won’t. But he still gives everyone an equal opportunity because he is just.
