Isaiah 43.21 God said... I formed My people for myself that they may proclaim My praise. Ephesians 4.7 & 11-13... To each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it... He gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some evangelists, pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service... MINISTRY… so that the body of Christ may be built up in unity and maturity. Paul is saying that... We have been blessed by God’s grace gifts for a purpose. 1 Corinthians 12 says... Now concerning spiritual gifts, I would not have you to be ignorant... God has set some in the church as Apostles, some as prophets, some teachers. Romans 12.6- 8 We have different gifts... abilities... according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching... be a good teacher; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
